About Berliner Dom

The Berliner Dom is the city's main Protestant cathedral and Germany's largest Protestant church, a neo-Renaissance landmark with a dome of roughly 100 metres beside the Lustgarten. Its congregation, around 1,800 members strong, traces its roots to a parish established in 1608.

Worship happens every day: a short midday devotion with organ music, a Sunday Lutheran-style mass and a Reformed-style evening service. Music is central, with several resident choirs, a famous Sauer organ and more than a hundred concerts a year.
