About Rumänisch-Orthodoxe Kirche

The parish of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel is the spiritual home of Berlin's Romanian Orthodox community. Its church on Heerstraße, completed in 2006, is modelled on medieval Moldavian churches, seats around 200 and has a 27-metre tower; a side chapel is dedicated to St Parascheva, whose relics it keeps.

Services are held several times a week, mainly in Romanian, and are streamed as audio online. The parish runs a choir, a women's council, online catechesis and charitable projects, and belongs to the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis for Germany and Central and Northern Europe.
