Praise began in 1986 when a small group began to meet for Bible study & prayer. The group began holding worship services in West Hartland later that year. In 1989 Praise became a member of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America. In 1995, Praise purchased 19 acres on Rte 44 in Pleasant Va
