About Kapernaum Kirche

The Protestant Kapernaum congregation worships in a neo-Romanesque brick church on Seestraße, consecrated in 1902, and also runs a second site, the Schillerhöhe community centre. It belongs to the Wedding region of its church district alongside three neighbouring parishes.

Music is central here: a Kantorei, a gospel ensemble, a recorder circle, a chamber orchestra and a children's choir. Every Tuesday the church hosts a Laib und Seele grocery distribution for people on low incomes, and the parish also offers Taizé prayer, a Bible discussion forum, creative groups and a children's house.
