About Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche

Heilig Kreuz was consecrated in 1912 as the second Catholic church in Wilmersdorf. It was badly damaged in the war and redesigned in 1973 after the Second Vatican Council. It now belongs to the community Maria unter dem Kreuz within the parish St. Helena Wilmersdorf-Friedenau, created in 2024.

Besides German Masses, the church hosts the Missione Cattolica Italiana, which celebrates Mass in Italian every week. The parish runs a Kita at Heilig Kreuz, a garden and community room, and caritas work such as a soup kitchen.
